Erica Plambeck is a professor of Operations, Information and Technology at the Graduate School of Business (GSB) at Stanford University. She joined the faculty in 1998 and has since become an expert in supply chain management, pricing strategies, and operations management. Erica has also ventured into the field of sustainability, examining how firms can adopt more environmentally sustainable practices while also maintaining their competitiveness. She obtained her B.S. in Industrial Engineering from Stanford University, followed by a Ph.D. in Operations Research at MIT before returning to Stanford to teach. Erica has published numerous academic papers in leading journals such as Management Science, Operations Research, and Manufacturing & Service Operations Management. She is well-respected and highly regarded in the field of operations management, and her research is recognized for its innovative contributions.
