Drive logistics and import operations across 4 departments consisting of Brokerage, ISF, Duty Drawback and Export Compliance. Within these departments there are 45 indirect/direct employees working both day and night shifts. Responsible for the process and activities of managing the governmental compliance, as well as processing of the import/export/trans-shipment/security filings of goods for a specific country, region, product or port.•Ensure compliance with customs regulations for all order tracking initiatives•Collaborate with several cross-functional teams for customer service, inventory tracking, account look up and documentation initiatives•Ensure that customs and governmental processes, procedures and activities are performed and managed based on global, country port, & mode of transport specific to governmental regulations•Keep abreast of laws and regulations regarding brokerage compliance and develop specific programs to ensure that personnel are properly trained and equipped with the knowledge to maintain a compliant environment•Monitor implementation of new accounts to ensure all KPI’s are met•Seek cost efficiencies and process improvements within different functions of each department•Attends Client Business Reviews to present and gather feedback from clients•Manages people’s performance and growth to create a sustainable business environment while ensuring that all personnel are working to capacity•Develop the people through identifying and providing relevant training•Manage and maintain operational revenue up to or exceeding $3M per year for Customs BrokerageMarket all current and future Trade Service Products including: Consulting, Brokerage Programs, Reconciliation, Post Entry Services, Drawback/Recon, Security Programs and Import/Export Compliance Programs.•Manage profit and loss, pricing, salaries, expenses etc.•Manage and delivery of the organization’s objectives through communication, measurement and motivation of people
