Erica Baptiste

Erica Baptiste is a dedicated community development enthusiast who is deeply passionate about revitalizing disadvantaged neighborhoods to create thriving and vibrant communities.

She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Architecture and Community Design from the University of San Francisco, a Master of Science in City & Regional Planning from Pratt Institute, and has studied Architecture at both Universidad Iberoamericana León and Pázmány Péter Katolikus Egyetem.

With a diverse educational background and extensive professional experience, Erica has served in various roles such as Principal Planner + Planning Manager at M-GROUP, Senior Planner at the City of Jersey City, Urban Planner at the Manhattan Borough President's Office, and Community Planner at Manhattan Community Board 4.

Her dedication to community development is evident through her past roles as a Caltrain Modernization Program Intern at San Mateo County, Community Planning and Development Intern at Hester Street Collaborative, and Graduate Fellow at Pratt Center for Community Development.

Erica has also honed her skills through her experience as a Draftsman/Assistant at Dark Fleury Enterprises, Inc. and as a Project Intern at Catherine Chang Design Studio.

Her comprehensive educational background, combined with her hands-on experience in various planning and development roles, showcases her expertise in architecture, urban planning, community design, and project management.
