Eric Ye

Eric Ye is a versatile individual with a strong interest in bringing new technology to people. He holds a Bachelor of Applied Science (BASc) in Mechatronics Engineering from the University of Waterloo and attended Marc Garneau C.I. for his earlier education.

Eric has an extensive professional background, having worked in various organizations. He currently serves as a Software Engineer at Google. Previously, he gained experience as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at the University of Waterloo, a Silicon Validation Intern at Apple, and in roles such as Firmware Lead at Waterloo Formula Electric, Infotainment at Tesla, Software Development Coop at Intrinsyc Technologies Corporation, and Hardware Engineering Intern at Pebble Tech. He also contributed to embedded firmware engineering at Pebble Tech and served as a High School Intern in the Focused Ultrasound Lab at Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre.

In addition to his work in technology, Eric has also demonstrated leadership and organizational skills. He has experience as the Vice President of Information Technology at Delite - TO and as the Head of Programming at FRC Team 1815 'Blackscots.'
