Eric Shum

Eric Shum is a seasoned professional with a strong background in research, design, and development of time-critical end-to-end detection technologies. He excels in leading multi-skilled engineering teams in algorithm development and managing projects outsourced to industrial partners. Eric's expertise extends to various aspects of product development including mechanical design and UI/UX design for GUI.

With a keen focus on product success, Eric has managed complete product lifecycles from conceptualization to specification, design, manufacturing, implementation, testing, and support. His leadership has also been pivotal in conducting successful product trials and demonstrations globally, including in the United Kingdom, France, New Zealand, Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Malaysia, and various Australian states. Additionally, Eric has prior experience in overseeing Sales, Customer Service, and Production departments in a manufacturing setting.

Throughout his career, Eric Shum has held key roles at renowned organizations, including being the Former Future Product Group Lead, Team Leader (Future Product Group), Senior Software Engineer, and Software Engineer at Redflex. He also served as the Assistant General Manager, Production Manager, and Production Executive at Top Ten Plastics Industries Sdn. Bhd., in addition to working as a Mechanical Engineer at MUR Motorsports.
