Eric Schott

Eric Schott is the Vice President for Translational Research and Operations at Solarea Bio, focusing on using microbes for healthcare solutions.

With a strong background in Cell Biology of Disease, holding a PhD and Master's Degree from the University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry, and a Bachelor's Degree in Biology from Stonehill College.

In his role, Eric collaborates closely with the CEO to develop corporate strategies, establish preclinical and clinical development plans, and drive internal collaboration and R&D efforts to create lead product candidates.

He has held various positions within Solarea Bio, including Head of Translational Research and Clinical Development, Clinical/Research Scientist, and previously worked as a PhD Candidate at the University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry.

Furthermore, Eric's early research experience includes being an Undergraduate Research Assistant at both Harvard Medical School and Stonehill College.
