Eric R. is a seasoned security professional with a diverse background in music and technology. After studying Vocal Performance and Audio Production at the University of Denver, Eric started his career in IT as a Senior Technology Intern at Brewster Academy, moving up the ranks to become a Technology Specialist/Consultant at Lake Forest Country Day School. He then transitioned to the private sector as an IT Security Auditor at BAI Security and later as a Salesperson at Best Buy.

Eric’s expertise in information security led him to work in various roles across top finance companies such as Bank of America and Allstate. He served as an AVP, Specialist - Information Security Engineer where he developed his skills in information security and cyber crisis management. He was later promoted to VP, Specialist - Information Security Engineer at Bank of America, where he led a team of Information Security Engineers. Eric worked as a Third Party Risk Management, Continuous Monitoring, Threat Intelligence, Incident Response at TransUnion before joining Allstate as an Incident Response Technical Lead. He is currently the Sr Manager, Systems Engineering and Data Analytics at Allstate, where he continues to apply his thinking outside of the box approach to problem-solving.

Eric has multiple certifications under his belt, including CISSP, GIAC GSEC, GIAC GPEN, GIAC GCIH, GIAC GWPT, GIAC GCFA, GIAC GSTRT, GIAC GLCD, GIAC GCFA, and FCC Amateur Radio License Extra Class. Eric's interests range from music, data analytics, incident response, to third party risk management, and he applies his creativity to tackle roadblocks.
