Pezzi's motivation to establish TurningPoint stemmed from a personal experience where he assisted a friend navigating cancer treatment, which revealed the complexities and inefficiencies in the healthcare system. This experience highlighted the need for better support systems for patients, leading him to create TurningPoint with a mission to improve access to safer, high-quality, and affordable healthcare.123
