Eric Morales

Eric Morales, also known as Eric Matamoros, is a 20-year-old healthcare entrepreneur with a strong background in science, particularly in the oncology field.

From a young age, Eric has been passionate about cancer, influenced by his aunt who fought against the disease. At 15, he initiated a project combining cancer and technology, specifically AI, which led to the co-founding of Biop AI in London, UK.

His innovative contributions have been recognized through various awards and accolades, such as winning the Connected Campus Idea Competition by Huawei, being the local winner of the Explorer San Francisco UB, and receiving the title of local Young Entrepreneur of the Year 2019.

Eric is dedicated to empowering individuals to discover their passions and succeed in the entrepreneurial realm by emphasizing hard work and a positive mindset.

In terms of education, Eric studied a diverse range of subjects including Biology, Chemistry, Philosophy, and Mathematics at INS Ramon Berenguer IV. He further pursued Biochemistry at Universitat de Barcelona.

Professionally, Eric has held positions such as Data Scientist at Novartis, Co-founder and CMO at Nutrilieve, and COO at Biop AI. He has also been involved in various organizations and initiatives to foster talent and innovation in the healthcare and technology sectors.

Eric's experience as a former Mentor at Explorer Santander X, School of Molecular and Theoretical Biology at Centre for Genomic Regulation (CRG), and World Youth Forum Spain Representative showcases his commitment to sharing knowledge and inspiring the next generation of leaders.

With a rich history of internships at esteemed institutions like Centro de Investigaciones Biológicas (CIB) and Teesside University, Eric has honed his skills in research and development, preparing him for his current role as a healthcare entrepreneur driving positive change.
