    Eric Migicovsky is a Canadian engineer and entrepreneur known for co-founding Beeper, an instant messaging software company, and founding Pebble Technology, a smartwatch company. He is currently serving as the Co-Founder of Beeper, a role he has held since April 2021.12 Before Beeper, Migicovsky was a partner at Y Combinator from January 2018 to April 2021 and was the Founder and CEO of Pebble Technology from September 2008 to December 2016.1

    Beeper, founded in 2020 by Migicovsky and Brad Murray, aims to unify various chat services into a single application, addressing the fragmentation in messaging platforms.356 Prior to his work with Beeper, Migicovsky gained recognition for Pebble, which became one of the most successful crowdfunding projects on Kickstarter, selling over two million smartwatches before being acquired by Fitbit in 2016.45

    Migicovsky's career also includes early roles as a Project Engineer at Raytheon and an Information Security Research Associate at Scotiabank.1 He holds a degree from the University of Waterloo, where he graduated in 2008.4
