Eric Martz, founder and president of MARTZ Solutions Group, has an extensive background in the financial industry, boasting over 25 years of experience in portfolio management, investment advising, and institutional trust. His impressive career includes various leadership roles, such as Director of Institutional Group, Director of Client Solutions, and Chief Operating Officer. He has also served in the United States Army, retiring as a Lieutenant Colonel.
Martz's expertise lies in practice management, asset allocation, portfolio construction, and product selection, and he helps financial services executives improve their practices' end-client-savvy management disciplines through a comprehensive operating system. He believes in balancing hard-edge and soft-edge practices, incorporating organizational health, operational discipline, and process execution practices to improve practice values.
To improve the effectiveness of advisory businesses, Martz helps execute processes and strategies to generate transferable practice value. Through simple, repeatable processes, he aims to maximize the enterprise value, provide an operating system to support an exit/growth solution, and accomplish these without hiring additional full-time staff.
Martz offers two different types of engagements, Retainer-Oriented or Goals-Oriented, which are value-based engagements with fees based on the clients' perceived value of outcomes. His goal is to establish collaborative relationships where responsibility is shared, skills are transferred to clients, and dependence on his services is gradually diminished.
