Eric Kastango (Kostenko) has dedicated his career to enhancing patient safety through sterile compounding, aseptic manufacturing, lean production, and quality management practices.
With over four decades of experience in pharmacy across various settings, Eric has held significant roles such as Corporate Vice President of Pharmacy Services at Coram Healthcare and managed a cGMP manufacturing operation at Baxter Healthcare.
He is a continuous learner, with certifications including Six Sigma-Green Belt and ongoing studies for a Certificate in Quality, Patient Safety, and Outcomes Research at Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health.
Eric's contributions to the field have been widely recognized, including receiving the ISMP Cheers Award in 2015 and the NABP Henry Cade Memorial Award in 2014.
He is an esteemed Fellow of the American Society of Healthcare Pharmacists and has served on multiple committees including the USP Sterile Compounding Committee and the USP Hazardous Drug Expert Panel.

His educational background includes a BS in Pharmacy from Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences, an MBA from the University of Phoenix, and training in areas such as nuclear pharmacy, pharmaceutical sciences, and architecture.
