Eric Kaplan

Eric Kaplan is the Chief Technology Officer (CTO) at AHEAD, a role he has held since May 2010. Based in the Greater Chicago Area, Kaplan is recognized as a technology strategist adept at addressing complex technology challenges through effective organization and leadership skills.

Professional Background

Before joining AHEAD, Kaplan had an extensive career at EMC, where he held several positions including Senior Technologist in the Office of the CTO for the Unified Storage Division. His work at EMC involved formulating technology strategies and integrating various storage platforms, particularly focusing on the collaboration between EMC and VMware. Kaplan's earlier roles at EMC included responsibilities as a Technologist and Senior Product Manager, where he contributed significantly to the development of the Centera platform, a pioneering content addressable storage solution.

Kaplan earned his Bachelor of Science in Information Systems from Indiana University - Kelley School of Business and has also completed an Executive Education Program in Financial Analysis at The University of Chicago Booth School of Business.12
