Eric Huang is a skilled scientist, engineer, and musician with a diverse background in computer science, artificial intelligence, and piano. He received a BS in Computer Science and Music from Harvey Mudd College and went on to earn an MS and PhD in Computer Science from the University of California, Los Angeles. Huang has worked at various organizations throughout his career, including Adobe, where he currently manages a team of ML engineers to build scalable systems to enable training on creative content. At Uber, he led a team that built an ML CI/CD platform to accelerate research on self-driving cars. Huang's experience also includes his work at LinkedIn, where he built a real-time news personalized recommendation system, and at Palo Alto Research Center, where he researched graph algorithms, automated planning, and automated data integration. Huang is also interested in processes that efficiently mature prototypes into production-grade technology and industry-academic collaborations. When he is not working, he enjoys his hobbies of health and fitness and playing the piano.
