Eric Hill
Vice Director Strategy Plans and Policy at USCENTCOM
Eric Hill is a seasoned military officer with an impressive academic background. He holds a Master of Military Art and Science from the Air Command and Staff College, as well as a Master of Science in National Security Strategy from the National War College. He is also a USAF Weapons Instructor Course graduate and holds a Bachelor's degree in Aeronautical Science from Embry Riddle Aeronautical University.
Throughout his career, Hill has held various high ranking positions, including Vice Director of Strategy Plans and Policy at USCENTCOM, Vice Director J5 at USSOCOM, and Special Assistant to the Commander at USSOCOM. Additionally, he served as the Senior Executive Assistant to the Vice Chief of Staff at the United States Air Force and the Senior Analyst at Office of the Secretary of Defense (CAPE).
Hill has also been Commander at 8th Special Operations Squadron, (AFSOC), Director for Counterterrorism Strategy at Office of the Secretary of Defense, Special Operations Low-Intensity Conflict, Division Chief at Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, and JSOAC Commander at USCENTCOM. Furthermore, he was Commander at Detachment #1, 18th Flight Test Squadron.
With this impressive track record, Hill's expertise spans military strategy, national defense, intelligence, and security. He has a wealth of experience in commanding military units at various levels and in developing and executing complex operations. He is also knowledgeable in air and space power.
