Eric Fischer

Eric Fischer is a first-year Ph.D. student at the University of California, Los Angeles, specializing in artificial intelligence within the Department of Statistics.

He conducts research on generative learning focused on language models at the Center for Vision, Cognition, Learning, and Autonomy (VCLA) under the guidance of Dr. Song-Chun Zhu.

Eric holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Philosophy, a Master of Science degree in Computer Science, and is currently pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy degree in Statistics at UCLA.

Previously, he has worked as a Graduate Student Researcher at the Center for Vision, Cognition, Learning, and Autonomy, as a Teaching Assistant at UCLA, as a Full Stack Software Engineer at NatureBox, and as a Software Engineer at Cinemagram.

Additionally, Eric is a Hack Reactor Graduate and has experience as a Wealth Advisor Associate at ClearPath Capital Partners.
