Eric Fields

Eric Fields is the Director of Industrial Design at Lightship, a startup focused on creating innovative electric camping trailers. He previously held the position of Principal Product Designer at the company, where he played a significant role in the design of the Lightship L1, an all-electric pop-up camping trailer designed for efficiency and sustainability. This trailer features advanced aerodynamics, solar panels, and a self-powered electric drivetrain, allowing for a unique camping experience while minimizing environmental impact.12

Before joining Lightship, Fields worked at notable design firms such as Bould Design, Ammunition, and Logitech, and even ran his own design firm for nearly five years. His extensive background in industrial design has equipped him with a deep understanding of product development and user experience.23
