Eric T Elder
Creative Media Consultant - Video Games/Animation/XR
Eric Elder is an accomplished animator with over two decades of experience in the animation and entertainment industry. He began his career at MTV, where he worked on the popular show, Beavis & Butt Head. He then moved to Los Angeles, where he worked on other shows, such as King of the Hill and The Simpsons. Alongside his professional career as an animator, he spent fifteen years as an instructor at the Art Institutes, where he developed one of the most successful video game production training programs in the system.
In 1997, Eric founded OW! (Online Worlds) Entertainment with the goal of creating virtual worlds for TV and movie properties. Over the years, Eric has honed his skills and expertise, particularly in the emerging field of AR/VR. He has managed productions, designed pipeline models, developed game/experience designs, and created studio pitches for AR/VR experiences based on major Hollywood IP. As an Adjunct Professor at Loyola Marymount University, he teaches VR Studio, Worldbuilding, and Studio Pitch. Additionally, Eric is an active speaker at various industry-related events and works as a Media Arts Consultant, designing training programs and production pipelines for animation, video game, and XR production.
Eric Elder has studied IL transformation with Landmark Education and has a BFA in Animation from the University of the Arts. He was formerly a Strategic Planning Advisor at TEC Leimert and Executive Producer/Consultant of Diamond Game Enterprises, among other positions.
