Eric Decker

Eric Decker is a portrait and sports photographer with a base in Libertyville, Illinois, and a focus on serving the Chicagoland area. He is known for his hard work, passion, and sincere relationships with others. Eric is a dedicated learner, whether in a classroom or on the sports field. An enthusiast of Chicago sports and Marquette men's basketball, he actively participates in slow-pitch softball, volleyball, and basketball. Despite being a type 1 diabetic, Eric is highly active in various sports.

With a diverse skill set, Eric has honed his expertise in photography, video production, sports, public relations, and writing. He has enriched his professional experience through multiple internships in public relations, marketing, and media industries. Additionally, he contributed as a part-time staff member at Marquette Athletics for almost two and a half years during his academic pursuit.

Eric's educational background includes studies at Lake Forest High School, a Master of Education (MEd) in School Counseling from Grand Canyon University, and a Bachelor's degree in Public Relations and Marketing from Marquette University. With his broad educational foundation and practical experience, Eric is well-equipped to excel in the field of photography and sports.

Throughout his career, Eric has been associated with various organizations, including roles such as Volleyball Coach at Community High School District 128, PAWS Aide at Libertyville High School, and Creative Director at Young Life. He has also served in different capacities, such as Photographer at Eric Decker Photography, Live Content Creator at Major League Baseball, and Substitute Teacher at Community High School District 128. His previous roles include positions like Sports Information Intern at Marquette University Athletics, Marketing and Communications Intern at Bernie's Book Bank, and Public Relations Intern at Salmon Borre Group, showcasing his diverse skill set and adaptability across different industries.
