In pursuit of their passion for film and digital media, Em relocated to Waco, TX, where they enrolled in Baylor University. At Baylor, Em excelled in their studies, majoring in Film & Digital Media. Throughout their three years at the university, Em led numerous video projects, including documentaries such as "Century of Teens" and "Portraits of Victoria," as well as promotional videos like "ILS:Rome" and "Omega Kids." They also initiated an episodic show titled "Deep in the Heart of Texas."

In 2009, Em had the opportunity to showcase their skills at the National Association of Broadcasters (NAB) as an intern production assistant for the daily video production crew. Their hard work paid off when three of the videos they contributed to won Telly awards. Em's dedication to their craft extended beyond their own projects, as they also taught a workshop on short film creation and filming techniques to kids during a 3-day camp.

Currently, Em works alongside their wife at Color Box Media, their very own company, where they offer a wide range of marketing and advertising services. Their expertise spans across website design, photography, videography, aerial photography, real estate videos, web development, mobile app design and development, HD commercial production, TV and radio commercial production, outdoor advertising, media buy negotiation, business branding, and graphic design.
