Emre Kazim

Emre Kazim is the co-founder and co-CEO of Holistic AI, a company that develops AI governance platforms for enterprises.13 He has been serving in this role since February 2020.2 Kazim is also a Member of the OECD Network of Experts on AI at OECD.AI since 2021.2

With an extensive background in AI ethics and governance, Kazim has published over 50 peer-reviewed articles in collaboration with government and industry leaders.13 He is an active member of the NIST AI Safety Institute.13

Prior to founding Holistic AI, Kazim worked as a Research Fellow at University College London (UCL) from October 2018 to March 2023.24 His academic background includes:

• MSci in Chemistry from UCL (2005-2009)
• MA in Philosophy from King's College London (2011-2012)
• Ph.D. in Philosophy from King's College London (2012-2016)24

Kazim's work focuses on empowering enterprises to adopt and scale AI with confidence, addressing challenges in AI governance, risk management, and compliance.13 His company, Holistic AI, has worked with leading enterprises such as Allegis, Mapfre, Michelin, Unilever, and Wikimedia.3
