Emmy Hanlon

Emmy Hanlon is a junior at The University of Kansas who has combined her passions for communications and business in her academic pursuits and professional experiences. She is a tenacious and influential communicator who excels at understanding people and their emotional connections. Emmy has held several positions while attending university, beginning as an Independent Marketing Project intern at the Kansas City Sausage Company and later serving as Bartender at The Jayhawk Cafe. She then went on to manage housing at Pi Beta Phi Fraternity for Women, gaining experience in event planning and management. As a Public Relations Chair at Lambda Pi Eta Communications Honors Fraternity, she honed her skills in communication, networking and leadership. Emmy later worked at Agentry PR as an intern before transitioning to Senior Channel Manager and Channel Manager positions at VML & R. She made a significant impact on Wendy's brand at VML & R and handled multiple responsibilities that allowed her to show her versatility in managing complex projects. Emmy is a uniquely empathetic communicator, and her passion for people is evident in everything she does.
