Emma Ruffin

Emma Ruffin is the Co-Lead and Facilitator at The Agility Lab, a division of The Nature Conservancy (TNC). Her work focuses on transforming collaborative efforts in conservation through innovative methodologies. The Agility Lab employs agile practices, such as the Sprint process, to address complex environmental challenges efficiently by bringing together diverse teams to design and test solutions in a short timeframe.1

With over a decade of experience, Emma has a background as an entrepreneur and a multi-stakeholder convener, dedicated to fostering sustainable practices and resilience in environmental initiatives. Her role involves facilitating workshops and collaborative sessions that aim to accelerate conservation efforts by utilizing lean methodologies.2 Emma is also known for her work as a visual practitioner, emphasizing deep listening and co-creation in her approach to problem-solving.34
