Emma Parry is an expert in people management with a specific focus on adapting to the evolving landscape of work. Her interests lie in understanding and navigating the impact of various factors, such as national context, age demographics, generational diversity, and technological advancements, on Human Resource Management (HRM). She has collaborated with organizations to tackle challenges related to emerging technologies in HRM, managing diverse age groups, and implementing digital HRM strategies. Currently serving as the Head of the Changing World of Work Group at Cranfield School of Management, Emma has authored and edited eight books, along with numerous academic and practitioner publications. She is a respected figure in the field, having shared her insights at various academic and practitioner conferences. Emma holds prestigious fellowships at the British Academy of Management, Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD), Institute for Employment Studies, and is a Visiting Fellow at Westminster Business School. Her specialties include the changing world of work, impact of emerging technologies in work, digital HRM, generational diversity, managing age-diverse workforce, talent management, and comparative HRM.
