Emma Johnson is a well-educated professional with a background in History and Ethnic Studies. She completed her BA in History at the University of California, Santa Cruz before transferring to the University of California, Berkeley to further her studies in Ethnic Studies and History. Emma has also been actively involved in various organizations, including the East Asian Legal Studies program at Harvard University. She previously conducted research at the Hotel Employees Restaurant Employees Union and served as a Researcher Organizer at the SEIU Service Employees International Union.
