Emma Carswell is an accomplished professional with a diverse background in public administration, policy analysis, project management, and psychology.
Emma holds a Master of Public Administration (MPA) and a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Psychology with Honors, both from the University of Victoria.
Currently, Emma serves as the Director of Innovation Ecosystem at the BC Public Service, where she leads initiatives driving innovation within the organization.
Prior to her current role, Emma held positions including Manager of Strategy and Policy, Senior Planning Analyst, and Project Coordinator within the BC Public Service.
Her experience also includes roles such as Strategic Human Resources Co-op Student and Corporate Administration Co-op Student at the BC Provincial Government.
Emma has a solid foundation in government operations, having worked as an Administrative Assistant and B.C. Legislative Intern at the Legislative Assembly of British Columbia.
In addition to her government roles, Emma has valuable experience from positions such as Park Attendant at the Capital Regional District and Psychology Research Assistant at the University of Victoria.
Her dedication to public service is evident through her roles as a Summer Labourer in the Parks Department at the Town of Qualicum Beach.
