Emma Adler

Emma Adler is a PhD candidate in the English department at Harvard University, specializing in modern and contemporary drama as well as the nineteenth-century novel. Her research particularly focuses on the relationship between fiction and ethics, and her dissertation examines contemporary plays adapted from nineteenth-century novels.12

Originally from Harrison, New York, Adler holds a Master of Fine Arts (MFA) from the Lir Academy at Trinity College Dublin. She has gained recognition for her work as a playwright, with her plays being showcased at various festivals, including the Tiger Dublin Fringe Festival and the Adams Pool Theatre at Harvard.1
