Emily Zank
Assistant Vice President for Academic Affairs
Emily Zank is an accomplished academic leader, educator, and writer/editor. She holds a Master's degree in Professional Writing & Editing from West Virginia University and a Bachelor of Arts in English and TEFL from Kent State University.
Currently, Zank serves as the Assistant Vice President for Academic Affairs at Brenau University, where she oversees academic program development, faculty recruitment and development, and academic assessment and accreditation. Prior to this, Zank held various academic leadership positions at Louisburg College, including Interim Vice President for Academic Life/Dean of the Faculty, Associate Dean, Assistant Academic Dean/Title III Grant Coordinator, and Director of Early Alert Systems. She also served as a Humanities Faculty Member (English Instructor and Writing Center) during her tenure at Louisburg College.
Zank is also an experienced writer and editor, having worked as an Owner (Writer/Editor) at Slick Communications. She also served as a Director at a non-profit organization, demonstrating her commitment to social responsibility and community engagement.
