Emily Yates

Emily Yates is a highly educated professional with a background in Sociology and Law.

She obtained her B.A. in Sociology from Beloit College and her J.D. from Gonzaga University School of Law.

Emily Yates has served in various capacities in the legal field, including as an Assistant Attorney General at the Washington State Office of the Attorney General.

Her previous roles include being a Staff Attorney at Northwest Justice Project, Assistant Attorney General - SHS at Washington State Attorney General, Law Clerk at Washington State Court of Appeals, Division III, and Frank M. Coffin Fellow at Pine Tree Legal Assistance, Inc.

She has also gained experience through positions such as Legal Intern at Northwest Justice Project and Southern Arizona Legal Aid, as well as Programs Associate at Thurgood Marshall Academy.
