Emily Tom-Atzberger is an accomplished and experienced Associate Director of Education. With a Bachelor's degree from Boston College and a Master's degree from New York University, she has an extensive background in academic advising, international education, higher education administration, admissions, and student affairs. Over the years, Emily has held a variety of positions in different organizations where she has excelled in her duties.
Most recently, she worked as the Associate Director of Education Abroad Program at UC Santa Barbara, overseeing operations and student services for students studying abroad. Prior to this, Emily worked at UC Santa Barbara as an Operations Manager, Sr. Regional Advisor, Supervisor, Education Abroad Advisor, Peer Advisor Supervisor, and Recruitment Coordinator. She has also held positions as an Academic Advisor at the University at Albany, an International Program Associate at The New School, a Study Abroad Coordinator at New York University, and an Admissions Counselor at Stonehill College.
Emily is skilled in various areas, including academic advising, international education, event planning, higher education administration, and student affairs. She also possesses strong community and social services skills, making her well-suited for her current position. Her work experience and skills have equipped her to handle various aspects of education and provide guidance to students to help them achieve their goals.
