Emily Tan is a highly educated individual with a background in social and public policy, having studied Bsc in International Social and Public Policy at The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE). Prior to this, she excelled academically, achieving 5 distinctions in Humanities with a merit in H3 Literature during her A-Levels at Hwa Chong Institution, and obtaining 8 distinctions in her O-Levels at CHIJ Secondary.

Emily Tan has gained diverse professional experiences through various roles in reputable organizations. She served as a Research Assistant at The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE), showcasing her research skills and academic prowess. Additionally, she has contributed to social causes as a Former President of LSESU Students for Children and as the Head of Charities at LSESU Social Policy Society, displaying her leadership and philanthropic spirit.
