She obtained her Doctor of Law (JD) from Seattle University School of Law, a Master of Art in International Relations/International Political Economy from the University of California, Santa Barbara, and a BA in Political Science/Public Administration from National Taiwan University.

She also gained valuable experience as a Judicial Legal Extern at the Washington State Department of Revenue and as a Summer Legal Associate at Lee & Lee, PS.
Emily's legal acumen was further honed during her time as a Legal Research Assistant on FCPA Issues at Seattle University School of Law, as well as a Legal Clerk at Lee & Lee, PS. She also has experience in the corporate sector, having served as a Summer Legal Extern at Starbucks.
In addition to her legal pursuits, Emily has demonstrated a passion for academia by working as a Teaching Assistant at UC Santa Barbara and as a Research Assistant at National Taiwan University.
