Emily (Salander) Maciá

Emily (Salander) Maciá is a professional with a background in psychology and education, having studied BA in Psychology and Comparative Arts at Washington University in St. Louis, as well as a Master's Degree in Education from Boston University.

Emily has a rich history of being involved in the education sector, having held various roles in different organizations. She has previously worked as a Senior Project Manager and Client Success at Panorama Education, a Principal and Principal in Residence at Achievement First, an Evaluation Team Facilitator at UP Education Network, and various positions at Teach For America, including Corps Member Advisor Coordinator, English Teacher, Cohort Leader, Lead Corps Member Advisor, and Corps Member.

In addition to her roles within these organizations, Emily was also a Policy Fellow at Teach Plus and a Learning Specialist and Grade Level Chair at Excel Academy Charter School.

Panorama Education, where Emily had significant roles, partners with K-12 schools and districts nationwide to gather and assess data related to social-emotional learning, school climate, and family engagement. They utilize research-based surveys and advanced technology to empower educators in leveraging data to enhance student outcomes.

Emily has been instrumental in supporting over 9 million students in 11,500 schools spread across 46 states, including prominent districts like the New York City Department of Education, Dallas Independent School District, Seattle Public Schools, and San Francisco Unified School District.
