Emily Rymer

Emily Rymer is a tech enthusiast with a strong passion for creating value in everyday life through powerful and user-friendly applications, as well as organizing meetups for PyGvl and WWCodeGvl.

She holds a Certificate in Back-End Engineering from The Iron Yard and is a Computer Science Junior at East Stroudsburg University of Pennsylvania. Additionally, she completed an Associate of Arts and Sciences (AAS) degree with Honors at Everett Community College and received a High School Diploma in Technology from James L. Mann Academy.

Emily Rymer has worked in various organizations, including her current role as a Software Engineer at American Thrombosis and Hemostasis Network (ATHN). She has previously freelanced, held leadership positions at Women Who Code, and worked as a software developer at companies like Simply Binary and Vision-e. Her experience also includes contracting roles as a Full Stack PHP Developer, Software Engineering Contractor, and Developer at reputable organizations like GE and Jackson Marketing, Motorsports & Events.

Aside from her tech-related roles, Emily has also gained experience in customer service and coordination positions, having worked at organizations such as U.S. Bank, Pocono Wellness and Sports Center, and YMCA of Snohomish County.
