Emily Miller

Emily Miller is a distinguished public servant, founder, and combat veteran with a passion for transforming government services and enhancing democracy.

With a background in leading impactful initiatives, Emily managed Twilio.org's $45M Impact Fund, funding digital disruptors and changemakers. She also held key roles in the U.S. Department of Commerce, overseeing technology accelerators, incubators, and seed funds.

Co-founder of the acclaimed social enterprise Rumi Spice, Emily's work has been recognized on platforms like Shark Tank and Y Combinator's social fellowship program. She played a pivotal role in advocating for policy changes in the U.S. Army, particularly in repealing Don't Ask, Don't Tell and combat exclusion policies.

Emily's military experience includes leading an engineer platoon in Iraq and serving with the 75th Ranger Regiment on deployments to Afghanistan, breaking barriers as one of the first women embedded with all-male Special Operations teams.

She holds a Bachelor of Science from West Point and a Master of Business Administration from Harvard Business School, showcasing her academic excellence and dedication to continual learning and growth.
