As CMO for an early stage startup, I'm focused on growth, building trust, and building brand love. From launching our blog to crafting ad tests and landing pages to telling our user's stories, I lead all efforts in content strategy, brand development, marketing, and advertising.

Northstar California, part of the Vail Resorts Portfolio, is a luxury year-round mountain resort in Lake Tahoe California. As Brand Marketing Manager, I worked with resort, corporate, and community stakeholders to increase visitation, drive revenue, and increase brand affinity through digital and in-resort marketing, delivering the experience of a lifetime for resort guests. 

--Led creative team, agencies, and vendors to evolve brand strategy and seasonal creative campaigns, driven by guest research and data.

--Developed on-brand content for all marketing channels, including website, email, display, social, print, online video advertising and broadcast commercials.

--Allocated and managed a $1M+ annual marketing budget across all marketing channels in partnership with internal and external stakeholders.

The Creative Lab is a small team of business thinkers, designers, storytellers, and technologists who help shape and build Google products and whose mission is to remind the world what it is they love about Google. As part of the Creative Lab, I was responsible for leading our team in the production and distribution of branded content, the creation of all supporting marketing materials, and the optimization of content on digital platforms: 

--Designed and tested social marketing, influencer marketing, and creator partnership strategies to exceed 1M+ views on branded content for Google short and long-form videos, growing engagement.

--Led the research, development, production, and distribution of branded content for events, technologies, and product launches including Search, YouTube, Google Photos, & Google Earth.

--Led a creative team of producers, editors, writers, and clearance experts for Google’s own branded YouTube series Nat & Friends.

Creative Lab Team Lead (Freelance)

go90 was a new video streaming app from Verizon that offered access to live and on demand video wrapped in a social experience. As Director of Content Strategy and Acquisitions for the go90 app, I was responsible for leveraging content to drive daily app usage and app downloads: 

--Negotiated new partnerships and contracts with creators and influencers to develop content that could drive new user acquisition. 

--Developed mobile-first content for streaming app go90 to increase daily view time in partnership with indie and major production studios and online publishers. 

--Collaborated with stakeholders on product, marketing, and content programming teams to launch go90 mobile streaming  app.

The Media Lab is a strategic team within Marketing and the Digital Media Department of the Metropolitan Museum of Art, focusing on exploring art + tech and the integration of technology in museums. As a graduate program intern, I focused on how we could use technology to deliver a more compelling guest experience.

--Rapidly prototyped new guest experiences for next generation of Met guests, including the successful launch of Meow Met,  a Google Chrome Extension that was featured in Buzzfeed and Time.

Designed to help filmmakers who are currently in post-production on their feature-length documentary films, the Documentary Lab is an intensive seven-week program that runs in Los Angeles in March and April. The Lab’s focus is twofold: (1) provide creative feedback and story notes to the selected filmmakers; and (2) help filmmakers strategize the completion, distribution, and marketing of their film.

Pilot is an idea shop and media consultancy focused on delivering the highest quality strategic insights and creative work for clients. A sister company to Pilot, CoPilot creates, supports, produces, and finances independent films. In my time as a producer at both Pilot and CoPilot, I grew from working on the post-production creative services team for major television networks to developing a feature film slate and supporting marketing materials for the company: 

-Developed marketing materials for major television networks including AMC, USA, NICK, and MTV among others, including optimizing thumbnails, promos, teasers, and series branding. 

-Tracked, developed and produced content for the CoPilot slate, including award-winning
documentaries  Our Nixon (CNN) ,  Maidentrip (First Run), The Diplomat (HBO) , and  Night
School   (2014 MacArthur Grant Recipient).

-Increased visibility and brand exposure for Pilot and CoPilot through key partnerships and sponsorships, such as the Rooftop Films Summer Series.

part2 pictures is a New York based award winning documentary film and television production company founded in 2007 by filmmaking partners Gregory Henry and David Shadrack Smith. Since its inception, part2 pictures has produced over 60 hours of critically acclaimed and highly rated series, specials and feature documentary films. Our work has been nominated for 9 Emmy awards and been honored with 4 Cines, 2 Emmys, a Gracie Award, and a Jury Prize for Cinematography at the 2011 Sundance Film Festival.

Wild Shot Films produces feature length independent documentaries, including the 2014 award-winning documentary Maidentrip, the story Laura Dekker and the circumnavigation that made her the youngest person to sail around the world alone. As a co-founder and producer at Wild Shot Films, I have been responsible for the development, production, post-production, and branding and marketing of Maidentrip:

-Hired and managed cinematographers, editors, animators, composers, sound
design, and interns for the production, post-production, branding, and release strategy phases.

-Optimized festival release strategy and subsequent sale and release in theaters,
Netflix, and other platforms.
