Emily Masterson is a higher education professional with over a decade of experience in faculty and administrative positions, specializing in innovation, strategic planning, concept development, user experience strategy, and market research.
Her expertise includes curriculum research and design, assessment, accreditation, effectiveness, and arts administration.
She holds a Master of Fine Arts (M.F.A.) in Studio Teaching and a Bachelor of Fine Arts (B.F.A.) in Painting from Boston University.
Emily has held various senior roles at Southern New Hampshire University, including Assistant Vice President of Product Design, Director of Design Strategy at the Product Development Studio, and Director of Design Strategy at the Digital Credentials Lab.
Prior to her tenure at SNHU, she served as Deputy Director at the Digital Credentials Lab and as a Visiting Curricular & Accreditation Consultant at Southwest School of Art.
Emily Masterson has also worked as an Associate Dean for Academic Advancement at New Hampshire Institute of Art, where she held multiple positions such as Director of Institutional Effectiveness & Assessment, Accreditation Liaison Officer, and Director of MA in Art Education.
Her career includes roles as a Visiting Curricular Consultant and External Examiner at Columbus College of Art & Design, as well as teaching positions at various institutions, such as Boston University College of Fine Arts, New Hampshire Institute of Art, and Methuen High School.
