With a deep-rooted passion for summer camps, she has devoted 25 full summers to the industry, transitioning from a young camper to holding various fun roles like canoe trip guiding and directing musicals.
Emily's journey has led her to her current role as the year-round director of a summer camp and outdoor education center.
She pursued a BA in Spanish and French Language and Literature from the University of Alberta, further enriching her skills and knowledge.
Her professional experience includes serving as the Outdoor Education Director at Camp Summit BC and previously as the Summer Camp Program Coordinator at Tim Horton Children's Foundation.
Prior to her current directorial position, Emily held roles such as Front Desk Assistant at the University of Alberta and various positions at Camp Tawingo, including Counselor, Music Director, and Program Staff.
