Emily Hargrove
President
Emily Hargrove is the President of the M.B. & Edna Zale Foundation, a position she has held since January 2023. Under her leadership, the foundation focuses on supporting individuals and families in building productive and meaningful lives.12
Background and Experience
Before joining the Zale Foundation, Emily had a significant career in the non-profit sector, notably as the Senior Vice President for Social Venture Partners Dallas. In this role, she facilitated collaboration among government entities, philanthropists, corporations, and community leaders to address systemic inequities and social injustices.13 She has also worked with various organizations through her consulting firm, Hargrove Partnership, including EarthX and Ronald McDonald House Dallas.1
Emily's earlier career includes five years at Warner Bros. and four years in public relations in London, where she managed communication strategies for prominent consumer brands across various sectors.1
Education and Community Involvement
Emily is a graduate of The Manchester Metropolitan University and is actively involved in her community. She serves on the Board of Trustees for the Dallas Jewish Community Foundation and the Southwest Community Foundation, as well as on the Community Advisory Board for the Junior League of Dallas.12 In recognition of her contributions to philanthropy, she received an award for "Outstanding Work in Philanthropy" from the City of Dallas in 2022.1
Personal Life
Emily enjoys outdoor activities with her family, including her two children and three dogs. She has a unique connection to film, having met her husband on the set of "Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban".1
