Emily Cannon

Emily Cannon is an experienced educator with a passion for teaching and working with children. She has been involved in the education sector since a young age, volunteering and working at child care centers and educational nonprofits. Emily is a credentialed Elementary Education teacher and has taught in both Brooklyn, New York and South Los Angeles. She has also worked with Head Start in Flagstaff, AZ and served as a Recruiting & Program Manager at EnCorps, a nonprofit organization that focuses on recruiting STEM professionals to teach in high-needs schools.

Emily studied MsEd in Elementary Education at City University of New York-College of Staten Island and earned her BA in Art History at University of California, Los Angeles. Her experience also includes serving as a Family Advocate at NACOG Head Start, Recruiter at The New Teacher Project, and Educator at NYC Department of Education.
