Emily Bertelli

Emily Bertelli is an intuitive communications director with extensive leadership experience in strategic communications and project management. She has a proven track record in designing and executing communications plans, driving day-to-day strategies, and managing cross-functional projects and partnerships with key leaders in both public and private sectors. Emily holds a BA in Communications from Pennsylvania State University and a Masters of Social Work in Community Organizing and Social Administration from the University of Pittsburgh.

Emily has a keen interest in education reform and possesses a deep knowledge of the conversation around improving academic achievement and educational opportunities for all students. Her specialties lie in strategic communications, media relations, project management, and stakeholder engagement. Emily's career includes roles such as Account Director at Larson Communications, Vice President of Communications, Managing Director of Communications, and Director of Media Relations & Public Affairs at the California Charter Schools Association. She has also held positions at Linked Learning Alliance, Capitol Impact, CORE DISTRICTS, Pittsburgh Public Schools, Dewey & Kaye, Frick Art & Historical Center, Hosanna House Inc., and Make-A-Wish Foundation.
