Emily Ballou is a Helen Gurley Brown Associate Resident split between Vermont's Northern Stage and New York City with the BOLD Theater Circle. She has a long history as a news contributor at The White River Valley Herald. Emily graduated magna cum laude from Middlebury College in 2021 as a Cohort 4 Scholar in the BOLD Women's Leadership Network, majoring in Longform Journalism, Theatre, and Cultural Politics within Asian American Studies.
Emily's educational background includes a Bachelor of Arts in American Studies and Theatre from Middlebury College. She also studied dance at various institutions such as Broadway Dance Center, Boston Conservatory at Berklee, and Stella Adler Studio of Acting. Moreover, Emily has engaged in online training programs at Broadway Dance Center and completed her K-12 education as Valedictorian at South Royalton School.
In addition to her academic achievements, Emily has been actively involved in multiple organizations.
