Emil Woods is a Founding Partner at Liberty City Ventures, a venture capital fund firm established in 2013, focusing on investing in companies involved in blockchain technology infrastructure and Web3 applications.
He has noteworthy contributions in the blockchain space, being a co-founder of Paxos, the first regulated bitcoin exchange globally, established in 2012, and Lukka, a leading provider of enterprise software, data, and tax reporting services for institutions managing crypto assets, founded in 2014.
Prior to his current venture, Emil co-founded Cedar Hill Capital Partners, LLC in 2005, a successful institutional asset management firm. Emil Woods is an alum of the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania, holding a BSE degree.
