As the Co-Founder and CEO of Frame.io, a popular video review and collaboration platform used by over 1 million media professionals and renowned companies such as VICE, BuzzFeed, and Facebook, Emery Wells has made a significant impact in the industry. His work was recognized with an Apple Design Award at Apple's 2016 World Wide Developer Conference.
Emery Wells founded Katabatic Digital in 2007, an innovative post production facility in NYC that was a pioneer in 4K digital cinema services for the post production market. The company expanded to offer various digital services to television and advertising clients and played a key role in creating over 100 Digital Shorts for Saturday Night Live.
Before establishing Katabatic, Emery Wells excelled as an award-winning producer and self-taught visual effects supervisor. His notable achievements include receiving a ProMax Gold award in 2004 for his contributions to Nickelodeon's holiday interstitial package. Emery also co-produced and co-hosted the first high-definition podcast on iTunes called "MacBreak" in 2005, which achieved the #1 spot for several weeks. Additionally, he co-created "The Circuit," a groundbreaking technology news program and the first scripted series for the MOJO HD network.
Emery Wells has held key leadership positions as the former CEO of Frame.io (acquired by Adobe) and the former CEO of Katabatic Digital.
