Emaan Haseem

Emaan Haseem is a dedicated student pursuing a Computer Science major at UT Austin's College of Natural Sciences, coupled with a minor in business at UT McCombs School of Business. With 3 summers of experience as a Software Engineer in Agile environments, Emaan excels in practical applications of programming.

Beyond her academic pursuits, Emaan is actively involved in teaching computer science to students ranging from elementary to high school levels. She has also lent her expertise as a Teaching Assistant for Upper Division Software Engineering courses at UT Austin, showcasing her passion for education.

Emaan's interests lie in mentorship and knowledge sharing, evident in her role as a Corporate and Graduate Mentorship officer for UT Austin's WiCS Org, where she contributes to empowering women in STEM fields.

Having a background studying IB Diploma with a focus on Physics, English, and Art at Plano East Senior High School, Emaan further pursued her academic journey by attaining a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science at The University of Texas at Austin. Her educational background reflects a well-rounded approach to learning and growth.

In terms of professional experience, Emaan has held roles as a Software Engineer at Google and gained valuable experience as a Software Engineer Intern at Infinitus Systems, Inc., Zillow, NCR Corporation, and Goldman Sachs. She has also served as a Teaching Assistant at UT Austin, a Computer Science Instructor at Juni Learning, and an Undergraduate Research Assistant at UT Austin. Her diverse experience demonstrates her adaptability and commitment to excelling in various environments.
