Elyse Heemskerk

Elyse Heemskerk is a multilingual and multicultural expert in marketing and communications with a degree in Business Communications from ISCEM. Her academic background combined with her passion for cross-cultural communication and adaptability reflects her dynamic personality. She has proficiency in Internal and External Marketing and Communications, Partner Marketing, Events (digital & traditional), and Corporate Storytelling with several years of experience in international companies.

Currently, Heemskerk holds the position of Head of Marketing & Communications at Waeg, an IBM Company, where she leads the marketing and communications function. Previously, she has also worked as a Marketing and Communications Manager both at Waeg, an IBM Company, and agap2IT Portugal.

Heemskerk has been a volunteer for Neem Dreams as a Marketing and Sustainable Product Development Manager and represented KWAN: Love, Respect, Community as an International Branch Ambassador. She is also a member of the international non-profit organization- Women in Tech®.

Apart from her professional background, Heemskerk is keen on travelling, sports, and cooking. She believes that "your smile is your logo. Your personality is your business card. How you leave others feeling after an experience with you becomes your trademark."
