    Elyse Cherry has been the CEO of BlueHub Capital since 1997, overseeing the investment of over $2.2 billion in underserved communities across the nation.

    Under Cherry's guidance, BlueHub has spearheaded initiatives like providing homeowners facing foreclosure with affordable 30-year mortgages and developing utility benchmarking software to reduce energy use in affordable housing.

    Cherry actively contributes to various organizations, serving on the Wellesley College Board of Trustees, the Board of Advisors of Eastern Bank, and chairing the Board of the Forsyth Institute.

    She is also involved in The Boston Foundation, co-chairing the Advisory Committee for The Equality Fund to support LGBTQ nonprofits, and has a history of serving on numerous boards including Zipcar.

    Cherry's educational background includes a Juris Doctor from Northeastern University School of Law and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Wellesley College.
