Elvina Beck is an American entrepreneur best known as the co-founder and CEO of PodShare, a coliving company based in California. Born in 1985 in Moscow, USSR, Beck emigrated to the United States with her family in 1990, initially settling in Brooklyn, New York, before moving to Livingston, New Jersey. She graduated with a degree in Political Science from Pepperdine University in 2008.
Beck's career began in the creative industry, where she worked as an actress, camera operator, and video editor for various notable clients, including Randi Zuckerberg and Avril Lavigne. Her experience in the hospitality sector began when she hosted Airbnb guests in her apartment, which inspired her to create PodShare in 2012. The company aims to provide affordable, flexible housing solutions for freelancers and travelers, featuring shared living spaces designed to encourage social interaction among residents.13
Under her leadership, PodShare has expanded from its first location in Hollywood to several sites across Los Angeles and San Francisco. Beck is also involved in community service, having served on the Central Hollywood Neighborhood Council and advocating for the homeless population in Los Angeles.12
