Elvin Too

Elvin Too is an Innovation Advisor at the Innovation and Productivity Institute (IPI) in Singapore. He specializes in leadership counseling, working closely with business owners, CEOs, and aspiring leaders to navigate their professional and personal challenges, ultimately enhancing their effectiveness and influence within their organizations.3

Professional Background

Before joining IPI, Elvin Too held significant leadership roles in various organizations:

• Singtel: He served as Vice President, where he led a comprehensive transformation program for the consumer business unit and initiated a new digital lifestyle business.

• NTUC FairPrice: Elvin was the Chief Strategy Officer and later the Chief Omnichannel Officer, responsible for transforming the e-grocery unit to compete with online platforms effectively.

• Singapore Post: He worked as Chief of Staff to the Group CEO and Senior Vice President/Head of the post office business.

Earlier in his career, he gained experience in the USA as a management consultant with Bain & Company and held roles at Walmart and Microsoft focusing on global market development and corporate strategy, respectively.32

Education and Community Engagement

Elvin graduated summa cum laude from the University of Pennsylvania with degrees in International Studies, Finance, and Management. He is also actively involved in community service, serving on the advisory committee of Whitley Secondary School and the Board of Governors at Raffles Institution.3

Through his role at IPI, Elvin Too contributes to the Innovation Advisors Programme, which aims to assist small and medium enterprises (SMEs) in Singapore to accelerate growth through innovation and technology adoption.12
