Elsayed Talaat is a highly accomplished individual with a strong background in Atmospheric and Space Science, holding a Ph.D. from the University of Michigan, an M.S. from the same institution, and a B.S. in Aeronautics and Astronautics Engineering from the University of Washington.
With a wealth of experience in various prestigious organizations, Elsayed Talaat has served as the Director of the Office of Projects, Planning, and Analysis at NOAA (National Oceanic & Atmospheric Administration). Previously, he held key positions at NASA (National Aeronautics and Space Administration) including Chief Scientist of the Heliophysics Division, Science Program Manager, and Discipline Scientist in Heliophysics. He also contributed significantly to the Earth and Planetary Atmospheres department at Johns Hopkins University Applied Physics Laboratory where he served as Section Supervisor, Principal Professional Staff, and Senior Professional Staff. Additionally, he started his career as a Postdoctoral Research Scientist at the same institution.
